Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well .. it seems as though those few readers I had have finally vanished and my blog has become a self indulgent waste of time .. but hey ... I like self indulgence and I'm good at time wasting so why stop now :-)

Not a huge amount to report since my last post though. My friend Sarah who is in New Zealand finally got in touch .. was starting to worry as I hadn't heard from her since she went back over a month ago .. but she's fine .. just too busy having fun I think.
On the Buddhist front, I had a piece printed on the BBC Nottingham web site which you can see HERE if you're interested.

It's been a fairly quiet time on the meetings front recently but we now have a few coming up and had our basics last night. Was a good meeting really, especialay as I was in a bit of a grump before I went and really could have done without it, but it actually was a lively discussion and a second person asked about receiving Gohonzon which is great as I made a determination for ten in our district this year .. long shot but good to have a target to work towards. Made me realise that a big part of this practise is supporting others in their own practise and enabling them to develop their own lives... Going to be a busy year !

Anyway .. back to bed now .... managed to get my video of Theo Angelopoulos 'The Beekeeper' put on to TV so I'm having a lazy Saturday morning in bed watching that .....
More soon

Happy 2007 and all that

I love the start of each new year ... always a bit of optimism in teh air though it usually turns out like the previous one but no harm in hoping eh !!
Also .. I get to invoice lots of people with smallish amounts for annual charges which brings some cash in, though it's mostly taken by the tax man at the end of the month but hey !! Looks like being a good month money wise anyway and that's my determination for the year ... work more earn more spend less ... clear off some of the plastic at least !!
Anyway .. as a new years present for anyone reading this (does anyone actually read it any more ???) here's a little video introducing the Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin and SGI (click the pic !)
